Eleanor Fein (1940 – Present) studied drawing at the Architectural Institute, Madrid, in the 1960’s. From 1973-1990 she was a children’s book illustrator and during this time she received the Nuffield Award for illustrating science textbooks for Macdonald’s Educational Publishers. Hamish Hamilton published her children’s story ‘Oscar the Mouse’ in 1990. Eleanor has had several acclaimed solo shows including the Paul Mitchell Gallery (2001), ‘Artist of the Day’ at Flowers Central (2004) and the Bohun Gallery, Henley (2005).
