Mary Fedden (1915 – 2012) is one of Britain’s best loved artists. She was a student at the Slade in the 1930’s, the first woman to teach at the Royal College of Art, 1967-70 (David Hockney and Allen Jones were two of her students), and President of the West of England Academy for several years. She is a senior Royal Academician. Her work is held by many major public and private collections including Tate Britain, the Contemporary Arts Society, HM the Queen and Prince Hassan of Jordan.
